About the Journal

The Australasian Journal of Clinical Nephrology (AJCN) is a fully Open Access, online only journal publishing bi-monthly. The journal’s mission is to publish high-impact research to advance education and training for nephrology practitioners. AJCN's intention is to improve clinical practice and promote innovation in the field of nephrology. The journal also eagerly seeks research focused on improving patient reported outcomes in Nephrology.  

AJCN publishes the following types of articles: 

  • Original research articles 
  • Reviews 
  • Editorials 
  • Case reports and case series 
  • Letter to editors 
  • Medical education

All submitted articles will be subject to an article processing charge (APC) if it is accepted for publication. All accepted articles will be freely available to everybody online, upon publication to read, download, and share.
